How much do you charge for a Disco?

This varies according to the duration we are required for, the distance to your venue and any special requirements. The first 50 miles (round trip) are inclusive, additional mileage may be charged past this amount.

We do not charge extra for playing past midnight.

Which areas do you cover?

We are Based in North Devon and offer our services to the whole of the South West. Whether you need a Wedding Disco in Devon, a Birthday Disco in Cornwall or an Engagement Disco in Somerset - we can help.

What music do you play?

We carry an extensive collection of the most popular music as well as a good selection of more obscure and specialist tracks, dating from the 50's right up to the current day. Our collection currently holds 35,000+ tracks and is growing all the time.  We can cater for most requests on the night and are happy to abide by a "must play" and "must not play" list.  You are welcome to supply your own playlist and an informal meeting is highly recommended prior to your event to discuss your requirements.  

How much notice do you need in booking?

If we have the date free you are welcome to book up to the day before your event. But it is worth bearing in mind that the most popular dates in the summer and winter wedding season are often booked 12-18 months in advance.

How and when do I book/pay?

We ask for a deposit upon booking of 25% to secure the date and for mutual peace of mind.

In the vast majority of cases the entire booking process and confirmation can be completed via email. Although we will happily post paper documents should you prefer.

You will receive a Booking Confirmation Pack containing a written and binding confirmation of our services, a contract to sign and return and an event questionnaire.

Please note that a booking is not complete without the return of BOTH the deposit amount AND a signed booking contract.

The balance is due seven days before the event. Please post cheques in time to allow for this.

BACS payment is the preferred method of payment and we can also accept credit and debit card payments either over the telephone or in person with our secure card payment facilities.

I have special conditions or requirements, can you cater for this?

Of course. You requirements are paramount and we will endeavour to accommodate any circumstances. Although please note that there may be an additional charge for equipment required that is not in our inventory.

We can source and arrange other related services such as starlit dance floors, projectors & screens, text message display screens, bubble/snow/foam machines and venue backdrops/drapes/starcloths.

Do you offer a military discount?

Living within such close proximity to RMB Chivenor and coming from a military background, we are now offering a military discount in recognition and respect of our fine serving men and women.

Please enquire upon booking. Military ID must be presented.

I have had a cheaper quote, will you match it?

We do not offer to match quotes like for like and the practise of undercutting fellow DJs is frowned upon in the industry as a whole.

As with most goods and services you tend to get what you pay for. The entertainment is often the most memorable aspect of a celebration or party and deserves the attention to detail and professionalism we offer to all our clients.

If you seek to hire a DJ/Disco at the cheapest price then our services are probably not for you. If however you require someone who places the utmost importance on the individuality and success of your celebration then FlyBase is the right choice.                  

We will always endeavour to meet with you prior to your event, as many times as necessary, to ensure you are both satisfied and comfortable enough to concentrate on organising the rest of your celebration, safe in the knowledge that the entertainment is in capable and professional hands.
